Breda, Netherlands .– Techtenna (www.techtenna.com), provider of carrier-grade LoRaWAN® networks, announces a European collaboration agreement with Polysense Technologies Inc. Polysense is the producer of a series of Smart body temperature scanners. A body temperature measurement can assist in access control for buildings and institutions.
Marco Sprenkels, CEO Techtenna: “Measuring body temperature can be compared to a breath test at, for example, a sports club or an event, where breath tests are conducted for the health and safety of the visitors.”
The LCI guideline COVID-19 prescribes the rule of life to stay at home in case someone has a fever with respiratory complaints and / or shortness of breath, because he / she may have COVID-19.
The contactless infrared temperature scanner WxS 8800-IRTM-TDN supports access control with independent and anonymous scanning. At a measured temperature above a set maximum, the scanner gives a signal. This signal makes it possible for the visitor to limit further exposure to others and to seek further medical support.
The fully standalone scanner transmits the anonymous, non-personally identifiable data to a cloud-based application to analyze trends for the owner. For this, the scanner uses the network and platform of Things Data Network. The scanner does not use a camera to prevent invasion of privacy.
The scanners are available immediately. The Italian government recently deployed 5 Polysense installations in their efforts to prevent COVID-19 expansion. For further information and price information, please contact email@example.com
