Techtenna organized a LoRaWan Hackathon at the Handpicked Agencies offices. A team of Handpicked Agencies enthusiasts build their own climate station that contributes to the wonderful initiative of MeetJeStad.

After a brief introduction of some Techtenna showcases, Will Loermans talked about the goals and his experience with meetjestad in Tilburg, where an active community build dozens of climate station and measure the city climate.
Then the real work started. The building kits contained a LoRaWan module, GPS, temperature and humidity sensor and a processing board and an outdoor casing. After 2 hours most kits were ready for testing.
A short break with some Domino’s pizza powered up the team again, followed by connecting the sensors to the Techtenna provided LoRaWan network. Handpicked Agencies was one of first partners in Breda to have a gateway installed on their roof and contributing to the best IoT network of the Netherlands.
